Cycle Chic
Cycle Chic’ is a global movement; a network of blogging bike advocates.
In 2006, Mikael Colville-Andersen started that movement with his Copenhagen Cycle Chic blog. With that blog, he aimed to take back the bike culture by showing how the bicycle can be an integral, respectable and feasible transport form, and how it can play a vital role in increasing the life quality in cities. Mikael’s mission has grown dramatically since, and collaborators from all over the world have joined the Cycle Chic cause. If you want to find out more, read the Cycle Chic Manifesto.
Dutch In Dublin is happy to be part of Mikael’s Cycle Chic network. To us, Cycle Chic is about people, functionality and fun. It is not about speed. It is not about sport. It is not about spandex. And every city can have it; it’s rightful share of Cycle Chicness. We aim to bring it to Dublin.
